leg warmers

Yarn: Red Heart Comfort (or any yarn worsted weight)
Hook size: H/8-5.00MM
Finished Size: When Laying Flat it measures 5.5" across and 15" from top to bottom.
Abbreviations:
Beg = Beginning
Bl/bls = Back Loop/Back Loops
Ch/Chs = Chain/Chains
FO = Fasten Off
Hdc = Half Double Crochet
Hk = Hook
Lp/Lps = Loops/Loops
Rep = Repeat
Rnd/Rnds = Round/Rounds
Sc = Single Crochet
Sk = Skip
Sl St = Slip Stitch
Sp/Sps = Space/Spaces
St/Sts = Stitch/Stitches
Tr = Triple Crochet
Special Stitch Instructions:
Beg V-St: Ch 6 (counts as first tr, and ch 2), tr in same st.
V-St: (Tr, ch 2, tr) all in designated st.
Instructions:
Ch 32, join with sl st to form ring being careful not to twist chain. (For a custom fit, increase or decrease the beg chs in multiples of 8. Or, use different yarn and hook sizes.)
Rnd 1: Ch 3, tr in first ch and in each ch around. Join with sl st. (32 sts)
Rnd 2: Ch 1, sc in first st, *sk next 3 sts, 7 tr in next st, sk next 3 sts**, sc in next st. Rep from * around, ending at **. Join with sl st. (32 sts)
Rnd 3: Work Beg V-St in first st, *ch 3, (sc, ch 2, sc) in center tr, ch 3**, V-St in next sc. Rep from * around, ending at **. Join with sl st. (4 V-Sts)
Rnd 4: Sl st into ch-2 lp, ch 1, sc in same lp, *7 tr in next ch-2 lp**, sc in next ch-2 lp. Rep from * around ending at **. Join with sl st. (32 sts)
Rnds 5-16: Rep rnds 3 & 4. Do more or less repeats for a longer or shorter length. Note that the following rnds will add another 2" to the length.
Rnd 17: Ch 1, hdc in first 2 sts, *sc in next 5 sts, hdc in next 3 sts. Rep from * twice, then sc in next 5 sts, hdc in next st. Join with sl st. (32 sts)
Rnd 18: Ch 1, sc in same st, *ch 1, sk next st**, sc in next st. Rep from * around, ending at **. Join with sl st. (16 ch-1 sps)
Rnd 19: Ch 3, tr in first st and in each ch and st all around. Join with sl st. (32 sts)
Rnd 20: Ch 1, sc in first st and in each st around. Join with sl st. FO.
Bottom Edging: Attach yarn to any st, ch 1, sc in each st around. FO.
String: Ch 90, working in bls, sc in second ch from hk and in each ch to end. FO. Weave into ch-1 sps of rnd 18.

Slouchy beanie

Crochet Pattern: Beanie
Round 1: ch 4, 12 dc in 4th ch from hook, sl st in 3rd ch of ch-3 at beg of rnd: 12 dc
Round 2: ch 3, 2 dc in each dc, sl st in 3rd ch of ch-3 at beg of rnd: 24 dc
Round 3: ch 3, (2 dc in next dc, dc in next dc) around, sl st in 3rd ch of ch-3 at beg of rnd: 36 dc
Round 4: ch 3, (2 dc in next dc, dc in next 2 dc) around, sl st in 3rd ch of ch-3 at beg of rnd: 48 dc
Round 5: ch 3, (2 dc in next dc, dc in next 3 dc) around, sl st in 3rd ch of ch-3 at beg of rnd: 60 dc
Round 6: ch 3, (2 dc in next dc, dc in next 4 dc) around, sl st in 3rd ch of ch-3 at beg of rnd: 72 dc
Round 7: ch 3, (2 dc in next dc, dc in next 5 dc) around, sl st in 3rd ch of ch-3 at beg of rnd: 84 dc
Round 8 – 14: ch 3, dc in each dc around, sl st in 3rd ch of ch-3 at beg of rnd: 84 dc
Round 15: ch 3, (dc2tog, dc in next 5 dc) around, sl st in 3rd ch of ch-3 at beg of rnd: 72 dc
Round 16: ch 3, (dc2tog, dc in next 4 dc) around, sl st in 3rd ch of ch-3 at beg of rnd: 60 dc
Round 17: ch 3, (dc2tog, dc in next 3 dc) around, sl st in 3rd ch of ch-3 at beg of rnd: 48 dc
Note: by now the bottom of the beret should fit snugly above your ears. If it is too loose, add another round of decrease and if it is too tight, remove round 17.
Round 18 – 19: ch 3, dc in each dc around, sl st in 3rd ch of ch-3 at beg of rnd: 48 dc
If you would like your beret to be longer, repeat the last round in the pattern as desired.

crocheted tote

Ch 27,
Rnd 1: Sc in second ch from hook, and in each ch to end, work another 3 sc in last st, working on opposite side of beginning ch, sc in each ch to end working 3 sc in last ch. Place st marker in last st made.
Rnd 2: Sc in next 26 sts, (sc, ch 1, sc) in next st twice, sc in next 26 sts, (sc, ch 1, sc) in next st twice. (64 sts) Place st marker.
Rnd 3: Sc in next 27 sts, *(sc, ch 1, sc) in ch 1 sp, sc in next 2 sc, (sc, ch 1, sc) in ch-1 sp,* sc in next 28 sts, Repeat from * to * once, sc in next st. (72 sts) Place st marker.
Rnd 4: *Sc in each sc up to ch-1 sp, (sc, ch 1, sc) in ch-1 sp, repeat from * three times, sc in each st to end of rnd. Place stitch marker.
Rnds 5-6: Repeat rnd 4. (96 sts)
Rnd 7-8: Sc in each st and ch all around.
Rnd 9: Sc in first st, ch 5, sk next 3 sts, *sc in next st, ch 5, sk next 3 sts, repeat from * to end of rnd, join with sl st to first st.
Rnd 10: Sl st into center ch of ch-5 lp, ch 1, sc in same ch, *ch 3, sc in center ch of next lp, repeat from * to last lp, ch 3, join with sl st.
Rnd 11: Ch 1, sc in each st and ch around, join with sl st.
Rnd 12: Ch 1, sc in first st, ch 5, sk next 3 sts, *sc in next st, ch 5, sk next 3 sts, repeat from * to end of rnd, join with sl st to first st.
Rnds 13-38: Repeat rnds 10-12 another 8 times. Then repeat rnds 10-11 once.
Handles:
First Rnd: Ch 1, sc in first 33 sts, *15 sc, sk next 15 sts,** sc in next st 33, repeat from * to ** once, join with sl st.
Next 4 Rnds: Repeat rnds 11-12, then repeat rnds 10-11 once more.
